HERITAGE PROTECTION

Beijing Cultural Heritage Protection Center (CHP) is an independent nonprofit dedicated to helping communities protect China’s cultural heritage.

Through education, documentation, advocacy, and hands-on programs, CHP connects professionals, volunteers, and local residents to conserve historic places, strengthen public awareness, and keep cultural memory alive.

CULTURAL EDUCATION

The Courtyard Institute is a cultural education organization set inside a traditional hutong courtyard near the Forbidden City.

Its programs focus on experiential learning such as expert-led excursions and hands-on workshops to connect participants with Chinese history, architecture, craftsmanship, aesthetics, and contemporary cultural life.
